Paradise Island - If You Are Loaded, You Can Own A Paradise On This Island Too

Did I mention that Nicolas Cage owns one of the cheapest estates on Paradise Island?

Nicolas Cage's House
If you think you are in a better financial situation than Mr. Cage, that's good, because his mansion is on sale for $7 million Bahamian dollars, which is the equivalency of $ 7 million American dollars. For those of us who are still far away from how much the Ghost Rider is worth even after he's broke, no worries, someone built the Atlantis for us.

The Atlantis
The Paradise Island is home to one of the most renowned beaches in the world - the Cabbage Beach. Its soft, white sand juxtaposes a sharp contrast to the colors of both the water and the sky - which are essentially the same light blue color.  Other than the beach, the island is also home to celebrities like Oprah, Tiger Woods, and Brad Pitt. There is even a cloister built in the 14th century which many newly weds call a favorite spot for photos.

I have nothing against purchasing expensive mansions at a place such as the Paradise Island. After all, these people are spending their own money, and they are happy about it. If the Bahamians have no complaints about it, why should we? Isn't the paradise all about happiness?

Now it made me start to think what paradise really is.

For Snowbirds who can't stand the harsh winters of the North, the Paradise Island is indeed the paradise.

For Christians, the paradise is a place where eternal life is and people live without sins against the creator.

For People Who Are Tormented By War and Oppression, the paradise is where peace and freedom is.

For Hungry Children Across The Globe, the paradise is where they have access to adequate food and water.

For Sick People, the paradise is the exact opposite of pain and discomfort.

It looks like for different people, the paradise appears to be something different as well.

But one thing for sure is, if we never desire or pursue the paradise, there will be no paradise.

For those of us who dream about the paradise and make a move towards it, we are already one step closer to the paradise.
